The objectives of the Sunshine Coast Wildlife Project are:

1. To Identify, Protect, Restore & Enhance Wildlife Habitat – To identify, protect, restore and enhance habitat for wildlife by conducting surveys to identify occupied sites and delineate critical habitat and working with stakeholders to maintain, restore and enhance these habitats.

2. To Sustain Populations of Target Species – To sustain populations of key species-at-risk in the long-term by assessing the status of and threats to populations and taking action to mitigate threats and work with stakeholders to ensure that appropriate management and recovery strategies are implemented.

3. To Educate & Engage Community Members – To increase public awareness of the conservation status and habitat needs of local wildlife species, and to encourage stewardship through partnerships, outreach, and community involvement.
